2014 5K

The Frozen 5K is on City Island on December 6. Pre-Race fun, frozen activities begin at 8AM. The race starts at 9:30AM.

Follow the information and registration link above to register online. Online registration is open until December 1.

The early bird registration rate is $20. This rate is valid through October 15. The regular registration rate from October 16 is $25.

Individuals who register prior to November 7 will receive a race T-shirt in the size they indicated at registration. Individuals who register after November 7 will receive T-shirts in their size on a first come, first served basis.

Packet pickup for coaches and pre-registered community runners and walkers will be held on Friday, December 5 (Noon - 7:00 PM) at:
Capital Area Girls on the Run, 525 N. 12th St. Lemoyne, PA 17043
On race day, packet pickup will be held at the pavilion on City Island.
(Packet pick up on race day is for our wonderful community runners and walkers only.)

GOTR Participants - The girls do not need to pick up packets/T-shirts prior to the race. GOTR coaches will have the T-shirts and bibs for the girls.
GOTR Running Buddies – You should meet your girl at her school’s team table and the coach will provide your shirt and bib.

Online registration closes on December 1. Race registration is available at early packet pick-up on Friday, December 5 between noon and 7PM at the GOTR offices in Lemoyne, and on race morning from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. at the registration tent. (cash or check only)
We recommend that you register online by December 1 to avoid lines on race morning.

The 5K Course Map will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

Girls on the Run participants and family members should plan to arrive at City Island by 8:00AM and meet with their coach at their school team’s table in the pavilion.

GOTR participants and coaches should wear their season shirts. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather. Creative costumes appropriate for the season are encouraged and may be rewarded ☺

Limited parking is available on both sides of City Island (the parking garage and the lot on the stadium side) for participants, their families, coaches and volunteers.

This race is open to the whole community. We welcome your family and friends!
Strollers and walkers are welcome at the race and should line up at the start behind the girls and their running buddies to minimize the injury potential of runners.
Please don’t bring your pets. Personal music devices (ipods and MP3 players) are also not allowed at the race. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

These signs are displayed along the course and can be personalized. They can be purchased by parents and friends, local businesses and anyone who wants to support the girls and the race. You can order one by calling the office.

A volunteer will sweep the course and gather Spirit on the Course signs. They can be picked up at the registration tent after the awards or by calling the GOTR offices in Lemoyne and scheduling a pick up time.
