REGISTERING YOUR GIRL

Online Registration – Girls on the Run Capital Area engages in a lottery based online registration system to ensure a fair and equal process for all girls. Parents/Guardians are able to sign their girl up online any time between January 20th – February 5th. 

To sign up for the lottery online, please have the following information available:

• Parent/Guardian Contact Information
• Emergency Contact Information
• Health Information (Allergies, medications, etc.)
• Insurance Information (Have insurance card available)
• Credit/Debit Card

When you register your girl, you will be asked to submit a form of payment. You will only be charged for the registration if and when your girl is placed on a team. If there are more spaces available on the team than girls registered, everyone will be placed on the team and the remaining spaces will be open for first come, first serve registration through the 4th practice.

The lottery will occur on  Monday February 6th, this is when the online system will randomly select girls that signed up for a designated location.

• If your girl is randomly selected, your credit/debit card will be charged on Monday, February 6th, officially registering her for a team.
• If your girl is not randomly selected, you will be notified via email and your credit/debit card will NOT be charged. Your girl will be placed on the waitlist.

Paper Registration – Please contact the school/site for the registration form and additional information as paper registration is managed by the Site Liaison at the school/site. All completed registration forms and payments are due to our office by February 26th or the first day of practice. Paper registration is first-come, first-served.

Scholarships - All girls are encouraged to register regardless of income. The program fee is $150. Partial and full financial assistance is available.
