We want to welcome Northside Elementary (Mechanicsburg Area School District) to Captial Area Girls on the Run! The addition of Northside is an important milestone for our organization! It is the 14th school involved in the fall 2012 season, which officially doubles the count of participating schools from the spring. During the spring 2012 season, we served seven schools (approximately 100 girls). We hope to serve around 200 girls at the 14 schools this fall! The Fall 2012 season begins the week of September 17th and will culminate with the girls participating in the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk on December 8th. Teams are limited to 15 girls and are formed on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
